The purpose is to apply the developed methods and guidelines in services for children with special needs, to assist their transition and adaptation in nursery/ kindergarten and to realize a successful cross-sector partnership.

Karin Dom will pilot a service for parents and young children to monitor  child development, to develop their independence and adaptive skills. Specialists will conduct screening, assessment of the children and provide therapy and child-parent group activities.

Parents and nursery/kindergarten teachers will be consulted to ensure a smooth transition and preparation of inclusive environment. Active participation of specialists and parents in team meetings to better present the child's special needs and implement cross-sector cooperation guidelines.

We will be organizing open days for the launch of the new service.
